Petuah Hikmah Yang Tertempel Di Dinding Rumah Mother Teresa

People are often unreasonable,
illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind,
people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,
you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere,
people may deceive you;
Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating,
others could destroy overnight;
Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
some may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the best you have,
and it might never be enough;
Give your best anyway.

You see, in the final analysis.
it is between you and God;
It is never between you and them anyway.

These words were written on the wall in Mother Teresa’s orphanage home for children in Calcutta. The original version was written by Dr. Kent M. Keith; “The Paradoxical Commandments”. According to the author, Mother Teresa was so moved by these commandments that she hung them on a wall in her orphanage home in Calcutta.
